An important control operation was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Caprino Veronese Company on the evening of Friday, July 25, aimed at ensuring security during the summer season. The service covered both the coastal area of Lake Garda and the SP8 road “Caprino/Spiazzi,” with a total of 55 individuals and 33 vehicles checked. During the inspections, two fines were issued under the highway code, one driver’s license was revoked, and an individual was reported for driving under the influence.
Particular attention was given to the SP8, which is frequented by numerous motorcyclists. In this context, the Carabinieri recorded a high number of penalties and also dealt with a case where an individual forced a checkpoint. The initiative received positive feedback from the local community and tourism operators, contributing to strengthening the sense of security in the area and deterring illegal behaviors. Operations will continue in the coming days as part of a broader plan aimed at protecting the community and ensuring a peaceful experience in tourist locations.
