Carabinieri Phone Scam Targets Garda Businesses with Fake Magazines

They pose as Carabinieri when making phone calls to hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda, offering magazine subscriptions from the force.

These are not law enforcement officers, but scammers who, at different times, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Municipal police.
