The choir Carminis Cantores, active since 1999 in promoting choral singing, has announced the production of the musical opera for children “In the Land That May Still Be. An Incredible Tale of Monstrous Monsters and Brave Children.” This project, conceived by Stefania Belich and Maria Teresa Simoni and set to music by Maestro Ennio Bertolotti, will feature the young singers of the children’s choir, along with a narrator, soloists, and an instrumental ensemble. The Operina will debut in Villanuova sul Clisi in May 2025, telling a fantastical story that celebrates the beauty of the local area and the importance of its preservation.
To support the costs of staging and producing the show, the choir has launched a crowdfunding campaign in collaboration with BCC del Garda and IdeaGinger. The campaign focuses on themes such as Sustainability, Quality Education, and Reducing Inequalities. Contributions can be made through the online platform IdeaGinger until March 30.
