In a prestigious event, Casa Leali, a Michelin-starred restaurant located in Puegnago del Garda, received a significant recognition during the presentation of the Guida Ristoranti d’Italia 2026 by Gambero Rosso, held in Rome on October 20. In addition to confirming its two forks, the restaurant was awarded a special prize for the best enhancement of Italian extra virgin olive oil, highlighting the commitment of the Leali brothers, Andrea in the kitchen and Marco in the dining room, to promoting the culinary culture of the Lake Garda region. The award was presented by the Frantoio di Santa Téa of Reggello (FI) and marks a return to the roots for Casa Leali, which is known for its use of oils sourced from the Società Agricola La Meridiana. Among the labels offered are the “100 Limited Edition” and the Monocultivar Favolosa, both characterized by very low acidity and made from the freshest olives. Andrea Leali stated that oil is not just a condiment in his dishes, but a fundamental ingredient that tells the story of the territory through distinctive flavors and aromas. Italian Version
