Castiglione Fire: Flames at Farm Facility, All Clear After Alarm

A fire broke out on Friday evening at a farm in Via Pigliaquaglie in Castiglione delle Stiviere, involving a feed-storage warehouse and an agricultural vehicle. The alarm was raised after motorists reported a dense column of black smoke. Firefighters from the local detachment, supported by a tanker truck from the Mantua command, contained the flames quickly.

The intervention prevented the blaze from reaching a nearby biogas plant with six storage silos. No damage was reported to the structure or its tanks. Carabinieri from the Castiglione delle Stiviere station carried out the required checks, and the emergency was declared over after firefighting operations were completed.
