Castiglione Launches Multilingual Tourist Brochure for Foreign Visitors
The municipal administration aims to strengthen the promotion of tourism and provide visitors with increasingly practical tools. Following the Italian guide, a new brochure for foreigners is now available. The peculiarity of this new informational leaflet about the beauty of the town of Aloisiana is that it is written in three foreign languages: English, French, and German. Therefore, there is no Italian version, as it is specifically designed for foreigners coming to Castiglione. These visitors may include tourists, students, people staying in hotels, or those visiting local businesses. It is an excerpt from a more extensive guide, the Italian version of which was published a few years ago also on initiative of the municipality.
The graphic layout, curated by Iride of Verona, is very pleasant, clear, and elegant, featuring a map of the historic center and photographs of the most beautiful places in the town. It also includes museum opening hours, useful phone numbers for visitors, directions to reach the area, and many other tourist information.
Description of the brochure and its functions
“Many foreigners arrive in Castiglione for various reasons,” explains the tourism councilor, Giuseppe Bertoli. “We have created a concise guide that highlights the main sights for those who do not speak Italian. A brochure in a foreign language was an important missing piece for us.”
