Castiglione Launches Technical Courses in Logistics and Finance for Youth
The municipality of Castiglione, the Università Cattolica di Piacenza and Cremona, high schools of Castiglione, many local industries, and Assindustria will establish higher technical training courses.
The city council approved the project for these courses and the calls for applications from participants on November 6th.
The project, unanimously approved by the city council and organized by the department for productive activities, delegated to Councillor Beruffi, is the result of collaboration among many entities from different sectors of society.
Details of the project and topics covered
It involves creating higher technical training courses aimed at high school graduates, possibly already employed by companies.
The topics of the courses are twofold: logistics and intermodal transportation techniques; management of business finances.
Organization and funding
The group promoting this project, coordinated by the municipality of Castiglione, includes the Università Cattolica (and it is not excluded that this is a prelude to collaboration on university or para-university courses), the high schools of Castiglione Gonzaga, Vasari, and Casa del Giovane.
The project is based on frameworks provided by the Regione Lombardia regarding access to regional and European funding.
If approved by the Regione and the Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione, the project will be fully financed.
Partners and supporters
Many companies from Castiglione are partners in this initiative, offering internship placements and their own instructors: Aimée, Pata, Amica Chips, Sar, Messaggerie del Garda, Fattorie del Garda, La.Ma.Plast, along with others currently proposing their participation.
Other organizations supporting the project include: Assindustria di Mantova, Api Mantova, UnComm Mantova.
“As promised during the electoral campaign,” said Councillor Beruffi, “we have responded to the needs of companies and young people.”.
