Cavriana has issued an ordinance for water conservation during the summer, in response to potential water scarcity in the area. The decree, issued by the municipality, aims to promote responsible use of drinking water and will remain in effect until September 30. Among the restrictions imposed on citizens are the prohibition of irrigation and watering of gardens outside the time frame of 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, washing of private vehicles, courtyard areas, and driveways, as well as filling ornamental fountains and private pools.
The ordinance emphasizes the importance of community cooperation in ensuring a rational use of water resources. Users of wells not intended for human consumption are advised to limit watering and washing during daylight hours. Sports facility managers are also urged to use water only when absolutely necessary to maintain the functionality of the facilities.
