The upcoming school year will mark a significant change for middle school students in Cavriana, who will be relocating to the classrooms of the primary school on Via Croce Bianca. This decision, made following the latest inspection by the Provincial School Office, involves the adaptation of classrooms to accommodate students in a facility deemed suitable and functional. The new temporary location was chosen because the new secondary school building is still stalled due to a dispute between the municipality and the construction company.
The alternative of returning to the old premises had sparked controversy among parents and the administration, prompting a push towards a more practical solution. The necessary work to make the spaces usable will be completed by the start of the school year, scheduled for September 12, thereby ensuring an appropriate environment for the students.
