Celebrity Birthday Bash at Parco Giardino Sigurtà Draws Over 500 Guests

Fifty-six hectares of park available to celebrate a suggestive, spectacular, and participative “Birthday Party”.

It happened last evening (Monday, July 3rd) in the wonderful Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio. The birthday celebrants, who turned years older, were Jerry Calà, Umberto Smaila, the stars of the evening, and Giuseppe Sigurtà, owner of the same-named Park.

The party and the guests

An enchanting celebration, due to the environment where it took place, and spectacular for the number and quality of both the birthday celebrants and the over 500 guests who gathered for the occasion, including many personalities from the entertainment world, starting with Giovanni Rana. Rana has now rightfully become a fixture, thanks to his “advertising campaigns” (as well as for his tortellini, also present and starring guests on this occasion, despite being celebrated in Valeggio, the homeland of Tortellini), among national figures.

Among others, we noted Diego, Rosita Celentano, Marcella and Gianni Bella, Elisabetta Ferracini, Fabio Testi, Valerio Merola, Nini Salerno, Gigi Sammarchi, Edo “Velino”, Puccio Gallo, Bruno Abate, Pierantonio Ambrosi, and others.

Organization and shows

The responsibility, carried out very skillfully, for organizing the grand buffet was entrusted to one of the most prestigious Brescia venues: la Sosta di Brescia.

Striking images of the long avenue along the central back of the park illuminated by hundreds of torches and, in the background, the grand and majestic castle of Valeggio, also lit up.

Among the guests, stilt walkers, fire eaters, and at the end, after the traditional cutting of the three large personalized cakes, a fireworks display as rarely seen, illuminating the sky above for about 15 minutes. The skies, threatening, respected the celebration and held back the rain, which fell instead just a few hundred meters from the Park.

Music and entertainment

Finally, live music, lasting until dawn, provided by the band that will accompany Umberto Smaila throughout July at his venue in Costa Smeralda.

Everyone took turns singing, from Jerry Calà to Smaila himself, including Marcella Bella, literally pulled onto the stage.

The oldest of the celebrants? Umberto Smaila, at 50 years, followed by Jerry, who is 49.
