Cellatica Hosts Lunar Conference and Temporary Art Exhibition
The “Around Lunaria | Luca Missoni. The Colors of the Moon” lecture series, organized with the support of the Cellatica Municipality, continues with a session on March 28, 2026, titled “The Moon in Cinema.” Led by film historian Professor Matteo Asti, the event will analyze the portrayal of the Moon in film history, exploring poetic and symbolic interpretations that shape collective imagery.
Prior to the lecture, at 3:00 PM, visitors can join a guided tour of the “LUNARIA” temporary exhibition at Casa Museo Zani, showcasing Luca Missoni’s artistic interpretations of the Moon. The exhibition features lunar representations and a collection of Baroque and Rococo artworks, including pieces by Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini and Tiepolo, with some works recently restored. Entry to the lecture is free with prior reservation, and the museum offers additional viewing options until April.
