The CentoMiglia, a historic sailing regatta, is set to celebrate its 75th edition on September 6 and 7, 2025. Organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, this event is the longest-running offshore regatta on inland waters in Italy and will welcome participants from around the world. Registration is already open online, with significant new features such as the adoption of the ORC regulations to ensure a fairer and more inclusive competition. Thanks to an agreement with UVAI, mini offshore boats will be able to obtain the ORC certificate for free or at a reduced cost, thus encouraging greater participation.
In addition to the on-water competition, the event will offer cultural and entertainment activities on land, including film screenings and concerts. The public will also be able to follow the regatta via a large screen in the square at Bogliaco, with real-time updates. The CentoMiglia is not just a sporting event but an opportunity to promote the local area and strengthen community ties around the passion for sailing. The event is also expected to have a positive impact on local tourism, reaffirming Lake Garda as a prime destination for water sports enthusiasts.
