Ceresara and the Renaissance Festival: the Convivio at the Palace 2025
The Renaissance festival “Convivio a Palazzo” is set to return to Ceresara, an event that commemorates the historic banquet of 1491 between the noble Francesco Secco d’Aragona, Francesco II Gonzaga, and Ercole I d’Este. The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Palazzo Secco-Pastore in San Martino Gusnago, where the “Compagnia delle Torri” Association will bring to life a celebration rich in history and culture. The evenings will offer the public the opportunity to dine in the “Locande” set up in the courtyard of the Palace, with free entry and parking.
During the event, visitors will be able to enjoy performances by artists, musicians, soldiers, and knights, culminating in a Grand Historical-Themed Show. On Sunday, September 7, the traditional parade of costumed participants and drummers will take place, followed by the “Palio dei Borghi ceresaresi,” where various districts of the town will compete in historical games. The event will conclude with a pyromusical fireworks display that promises to enchant the audience present.
