Championship for Disabled Sailors in Desenzano del Garda: Unveiling Without Barriers

From September 3 to 6, the XVI Interprovincial Championship for sailors with disabilities will take place in **Desenzano del Garda**, a central event of the initiative **Unveiling Without Barriers**, dedicated to inclusion and volunteerism. The event was presented at the headquarters of the Dielleffe Nautical Group, in the presence of local authorities and representatives from the involved associations. This year, in addition to the title of interprovincial champions and the VIII Luigina Trophy, the 1st Memorial Cino Anelli will also be awarded in honor of the former mayor who has supported the project from the very beginning.

The championship will feature four days of racing in the Gulf of Desenzano, with nine fleet races aboard the club’s J24s. Each association will participate with crews made up of people with disabilities and their companions, supported by a team of volunteers and boats to ensure safety during the competitions. The event will culminate in a festive awards ceremony on Saturday afternoon, celebrating not only the winners but all participants and the collective commitment to solidarity through sport.
