Changes in road traffic for the Colnago Cycling Festival: here are the restrictions to know

The changes to the road network for the Colnago Cycling Festival have been announced by the Municipality of Desenzano del Garda. The event, which will take place from April 5th to 7th, will result in some restrictions to vehicular traffic in various streets of the city.

On Friday, April 5th, from 4:00 am to 8:00 am, via Anelli will be closed to vehicular traffic from the roundabout with via Dal Molin to piazza Feltrinelli. Also on Friday morning, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, lungolago Cesare Battisti will be closed between piazza Feltrinelli and the intersection with via Gramsci.

From Saturday, April 6th at 8:30 am until Monday, April 8th at 7:00 am, via Anelli will be closed to vehicular traffic again from the roundabout with via Dal Molin to piazza Feltrinelli. On Sunday morning, from 5:00 am until the end of the event, lungolago Cesare Battisti will also be closed between piazza Feltrinelli and the intersection with via Gramsci.

Other streets affected by the restrictions are via Monte Corno and via Gramsci, which will be closed to non-resident vehicular traffic on Sunday morning. Additionally, all side accesses to via Vo’ and lungolago Cesare Battisti will be closed to allow passage for cyclists.

Throughout the event, access will be allowed for residents and hotel guests through alternative routes in the historic center, in accordance with the organizational and safety needs of the event. Taxis will be able to load and unload passengers in piazza Malvezzi.
