A 2-year-old boy experienced a medical emergency on Saturday afternoon at the municipal swimming pools in Salò, while he was under an umbrella with his mother. The situation became critical, prompting the woman to immediately contact emergency services at around 5:00 PM. An ambulance from the Volontari del Garda, a medical car from Asst Garda, and an air ambulance from Milan responded to the scene, transporting the child to the hospital in Bergamo, where he was admitted to intensive care.
Fortunately, in recent hours, positive news has emerged regarding his health, with doctors now investigating the causes of the medical emergency. The child, who was not in the water at the time of the incident, is showing signs of improvement, and his condition is being closely monitored by the healthcare staff.
