The condition of the two-year-old boy who suffered a medical emergency at the municipal pools in Salò has improved. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, June 7. The little boy was with his mother at the summer park managed by the Canottieri when he lost consciousness around 5 PM while sitting under an umbrella and not swimming. The mother immediately called for help, and emergency services responded quickly, including an air ambulance, to transfer the child in critical condition to the hospital in Bergamo.
Currently, the boy is hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care unit at Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in critical condition. However, some sources report encouraging signs: the child has regained consciousness and is showing an initial positive clinical response. Nevertheless, the prognosis remains guarded, and healthcare professionals continue to closely monitor the situation.
