Christmas Events in Garda and Lake Garda Area Include Concerts, parades, and markets
The Christmas events in Garda and surroundings? They will be full of gatherings. Here are some highlights. Today at 3:30 PM, in the Sala del Caminetto of Salò, there will be a vocal-instrumental concert organized by the Gruppo pensionati. The performers will be Francesca Ferrari (soprano), Alfio Andreoli (tenor), and Antonio Leali (piano). Hosted by Antonia Marchese.
In Puegnago, this evening at 9 PM in the parish church, there will be a performance by the choir «Voci bianche» directed by Maestro Ennio Bertolotti.
Activities and Shows in Gardone
Moving on to Gardone, tomorrow at 2 PM, along the lakeside promenade and in Piazza Marconi, there will be the whale-eating children’s game, while a horse-drawn carriage will offer rides around the historic center.
At 4 PM, the «Pastorella» will depart from the Morgnaga neighborhood and arrive at the lakeside promenade. At 5:30 PM, Santa Claus will arrive by boat to distribute gifts.
In the evening, at 11 PM, the Pastorella parade will lead through Gardone up to the parish church for the midnight mass. During the event, hot mulled wine, chestnuts, and cotton candy will be distributed. The organization is by the municipality and the Caritas.
Also in Gardone, on Tuesday at 4 PM in the hall of Villa Alba, there will be the «Winter Concert». The stage will host the orchestra of the Moscow Radiotelevision conducted by Edward Serov, performing pieces by Strauss.
Events on the Veronese Shore and in Garda
The Veronese shoreline? Tonight at 9 PM, in the parish church of Brenzone, the Schola cantorum San Briccio and the San Filippo Neri Instrumental Academy will perform Vivaldi’s Gloria, Corelli’s Christmas Night concerto grosso, and a medley of carols. Performers include Nadia Bezzù (soprano), Rossana Rinaldi (contralto), and Nicolò Ripano (baritone).
In Garda, throughout today, the Corporazione degli antichi Originari will set up a stand offering products made with lake fish.
At 3:30 PM, the Poseto choir from Caprino will perform. Tomorrow, there will be a gathering of vintage cars and motorcycles, local gastronomic specialties (organized by the Pro loco), and at 7 PM, the Biganate with the La Rocca choir.
In Peschiera, Santa Claus will be busy visiting neighborhoods, distributing gifts to children (from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM; on holidays, also in the mornings from 10 AM to 12 PM).
