The Clean Green Days initiative, promoted by the Lombardy Region and WWF, is an annual event aimed at informing, raising awareness, and involving citizens in environmental issues. The main objective is to carry out concrete actions to clean and maintain the most environmentally valuable green areas.

This year, in Sirmione, the initiative is being renewed with two days dedicated to clean green activities. The first day involves cleaning the moat of Scaligero Castle on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 8:00 am. The operation will be organized by WWF Bergamo-Brescia, in collaboration with Talata Sub, Tritone Sub, and Giovani Sirmione. The second day will be dedicated to cleaning the coast of Lido Galeazzi on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 9:00 am. The meeting point will be at Lido Galeazzi Beach Bar.

Participation in both days is open to all volunteers who wish to contribute to the initiative. It is recommended to bring work gloves to ensure maximum safety during the cleaning operations.

The Clean Green Days will see the active participation of various local associations and groups, including the Environment and Ecology Commission, WWF, Desenzano Scout Group, Legambiente, Alpine Group, Sirmione Services, the Youth Association, ProLoco, GTL Friends of Punta Grò Association, and the Sirmione Volunteer Group.
