Tav Construction on A4: Closure Announced Between Sommacampagna and Peschiera. Highway traffic will be suspended from 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 15, until 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 16, due to scheduled work by the Cepav Due Consortium for the Brescia-Verona Lot of the Turin-Venice High-Speed Rail Line. During the preparatory phase, expected between 10:00 PM on Friday, March 14, and 6:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, traffic will be limited to a single lane in both directions between the Peschiera and Sommacampagna toll booths heading towards Venice.
The total closure of the highway section will affect both carriageways, from km 270+700 to km 259+300, with mandatory exits for vehicles heading to Milan at the Sommacampagna toll booth and for those heading to Venice at the Peschiera toll booth. Motorists will be able to use the S.R.11 to re-enter the highway at the indicated points. Furthermore, during the same hours, the entry ramps towards Milan and Venice at their respective toll booths will also be closed, while a partial restoration of the detour will occur in the S. Giorgio in Salici area.
