The Autostrada A4 Brescia-Verona-Vicenza-Padova S.p.A. has announced the closure of the San Zeno tunnel in the municipality of Lonato, due to urgent maintenance work. The traffic closure will take place from Monday, December 9, 2024, at 9:00 PM until Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 6:00 AM, affecting the road section between the Desenzano toll booth and the junction with S.S.11, in the area of Casette di Sopra (Ponte S. Marco).
During this period, detours will be in place and signposted with appropriate signage to ensure the safety of motorists. It is important to note that, in the event of bad weather, the work may be postponed to a later date.
