In Toscolano Maderno, the Valley of the Paper Mills remains closed to traffic due to the risk of landslides. The traffic ban has been extended until further notice, with barriers placed at critical points where unstable material has been identified as a hazard.

On Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29, weather permitting, work to remove loose material is scheduled in the designated areas from 8 AM to 12 PM. The road closure has also led to the suspension of activities at the Center of Excellence Museum in Maina Inferiore, which had already suffered damage during the flood in September.
