Coast Guard and Lake Navigation Step Up Water Safety Campaign

The Italian Coast Guard and the Lake Navigation Authority have launched an enhanced summer awareness campaign aimed at tourists, swimmers, and boaters on Italy’s lakes, as part of public safety prevention and protection efforts promoted by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.

During the initiative, informational guidance will be distributed aboard patrol motorboats, outlining responsible behaviors to follow both in the water and on vessels. The campaign is intended to highlight risks and prevent dangerous situations linked to underestimating local navigation and swimming conditions.
