On Sunday, June 8th, the Golf Colombaro in Salò hosted the Santa Lucia Cup “Summer Edition”, now in its seventeenth edition. Under the new presidency of Michele Baldi, who was elected in January following the resignation of Brunetto Lusenti, the event maintained its goal of uniting sport and solidarity, donating all proceeds to charity. The competition, which took place in an 18-hole stableford format with a shotgun start, saw participation from athletes representing five different clubs.
The results crowned Gianni Bertoli from San Vigilio as the first net winner in the first category with 39 points, followed by Tarcisio Zani from Colombaro with 37. In the second category, Fiorella Carli took the first net prize with 43 points. The “Santa Lucia il cuore del golf” association, active for 16 years, continues to support those in need through food donations and direct assistance to vulnerable families in the area. The event will return in its winter edition during the Santa Lucia weekend.
