Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which lasts two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total funds allocated for the ’ initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and meeting places will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating moments of gathering and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Municipal Administration has committed to supporting initiatives, providing surveillance services and coordinating among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
