Community Initiative in Cornuda Aims to Support Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the socially most vulnerable groups.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which lasts two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
