Agreement in Cornuda

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and opportunities for socialization for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing oversight and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
