Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Boosts Elderly & Disabled Support

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included representatives from local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting these initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
