Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launched with €100K Funding

Beginning of the agreement and participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
