On early June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned activities and specific objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
