Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institutional Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces took part in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
