Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will span two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
