Start of the Convention and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved various representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and several volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is around one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker social groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
