Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated sum for implementing the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
