Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
