Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the target groups. Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
