Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supported by Local Authorities and Volunteers

Cornuda Convention

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, while also creating opportunities for community interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
