Cornuda Social Initiative Boosts Support for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing security services and coordinating the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
