Cornuda Social Project Boosts Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weakest categories. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
