Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Boost Inclusion and Wellbeing

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

The project, with a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
