Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Community Inclusivity

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community encounters and solidarity.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
