Cornuda Social Support Project Launch Aims at Social Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transportation, institutions, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
