Cornuda Social Support Project Launch with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
