Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Enhance Elderly and Disabled Care
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in support of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and meeting points will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community gatherings and solidarity.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in the organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
