On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home help services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker social groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
