Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Involvement
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, principally aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Activities and expected goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and meeting points will also be enhanced.
