Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding from EU and Region

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of entries in June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union grants.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
