Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Partnerships
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which lasts for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
