On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
