Cornuda Convention

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the salone of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the Municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned activities and objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing surveillance services and coordinating the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
